We had a great time at the 300 Oaks Road Race which the Chamber of Commerce puts on each year here in Greenwood. It's one of the biggest sanctioned 10K's in the State and the MS Track Club plays an integral part. For the second year in a row, the starting line was across the street from us and then the last mile comes down Grand to cross the Yazoo River finish line. The weather was perfect for the middle of September. I ran the 10K along with Anna, Lulu, and Scott. Floyd, Floyd IV and Walker Pedigo ran the 5k run(which was a new addition to the race this year). Anne Craig and Elizabeth ran the one mile fun run. Here are a few pics from the weekend!
