John and I trained for and then completed the BRUTAL yes let me say it again BRUTAL course of the Blues Marathon on January 3rd in 2 hours and 5 minutes. There is no way for us Flatlanders to have prepared any better for the 13 mile race. So until you experience the rolling hills of State Street into Belhaven yourself there is no way to explain. However... we were so pleased with the race and now that it's behind us we are thirsty for more which brings me to the announcement of....The Country Music Marathon HERE WE COME!! Yes, April 25 we will compete in Nashville for yet another HALF and yes....we will pay to do it. Official training begins February 1!!!
