Floyd was invited by Papa and Jane to join them along with Germaine to watch the Rebels play in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Now, for my football fanatic child one must understand that this was a big big deal.. Not to mention they were going to be gone for 4 nights and 5 days, stay at the same hotel as the Ole Miss players and partake in some fine dining as well!! When Dad told me to throw Floyd's sports coat in his suitcase I knew he was in for a real treat...They left New Year's Eve and returned Jan. 4th. They had such a wonderful trip. Here are few pics documenting what a memorable time it was and Dad even added some history exposure for Floyd to take in with the JFK Museum and the Grassy Knoll. OH, and let's not forget Floyd IV's deep conversation with Senator Roger Wicker at the Italian restaurant they went to...too funny indeed. Good times.
